Hi Friends,
I hope you won't mind me using my blog for purely selfish reasons. :)
My family and I have been terribly sick all week, and we would cherish your prayers.
We all just returned from the Dr.'s office, and he ordered tests for several things...I've been sick since the retreat ended, and everyone else has been on & off since.
Shane sounds like a seal right now...bless his heart! He hasn't slept well all week long. He never takes off of work due to illness, unless he feels really, really poor.
He looks terrible...
Anyway, if you'd pray for us, we'd be ever thankful. We really need them right now.
Much love,
Jes

Jesica,
I read your prayer request this morning, and wanted to take the opportunity to lift you and your family up.
I pray and ask God to quickly restore you and your family to good health. I ask for strength, good rest so that you all will be able to be free of this sickness soon. Also, pray that God would prevent this from continuing to circle your family.
I pray this in Jesus Name and thank God for how he will answer. Thank you God for the many blessings that you so freely give to us…that most of the time we do not even deserve. I praise and thank you it doesn't depend on what we deserve, but only on YOUR love, mercy and grace in Jesus Name. AMEN
I have thought many times to send you a prayer request myself, but have just not followed through as of yet.
Blessings,

I just saw your prayer request and I'm praying for you all. Give Brennan big birthday hugs for us.
Love,
Nan
I hope you guys are all feeling better now!
Dearest Deb,
Thank you so very much for your precious prayer! I would be honored to pray for you, too.
Please do consider writing back to me, and tell me how I can lift you up to the Lord.
I would love to talk with you and get to know you. Alabama! That's exciting! A blog reader in Alabama...can't wait to hear how you found my blog.
Please...do write to me. It would make my week!
Nanner...I love you! I have lots of pictures to send to you of Brennie-Bren in all of her beautiful clothes that you sent!
I can't wait to tell you about the green & white dress, and her necklace and bracelet...you'll love it!
She is such a girlie-girl! You hit the nail on the head with those things you chose.
Hey Nan..remember when I met Ed at the lawyer's office in Houston, wearing cut-offs and hiking boots?! You were outraged when you heard about it!
I'm so sorry! Please, accept my very belated apologies.
I bet you wanted to crawl under a rock and die!
Chandy...thank you for your post...I love reading your blog. I know I'm more of a "lurker", but I do love it!
Take chlorox wipes to work tomorrow. :)
Goodnight All..
Jes
Jesica-
Thanks for your wonderful, enthusiastic response. I will write you later, but for now I have just returned to work after being out for 2 weeks with my grandchildren visiting with us from Texas. I just wanted to let you know that I do plan to write you back, it might just be a little bit before that happens.
I do enjoy your blog very much and some others that are linked from yours. I would have voted for the symbols guide in your poll, even though I haven’t really gotten a good start with Precepts, so far, only listening to her on the radio, which is always a blessing.
Till “a bit” later,
Deborah
Jesica,
Quickly, I wanted to let you know that I have updated my profile. If so, I didn’t mean to give the impression of being so secretive, but it is the first time that I am doing anything with this, and I was not finished before I sent you the prayer the other day. The post to your blog was also a first—(I have wanted to post on other blogs before but never did). Today during lunch I attempted to finish it up.
I am sorry my grammar and writing skills are poor, please excuse them.
I hope that you and your family are feeling much better by now.
In Christ,
Deborah
I read your comment on Angie Smith's blog...and had to say thank you for encouraging me! ;^) I'm just another home school mom(of several years)going through some challenging times...praying my kids don't suffer for it. There is no way to explain but...thank you, your words spoke peace into my heart!
Jesica,

Hey Jes,
I'm sorry that I'm responding to this post so late! I hope you all are feeling better by now. Please let me know if I can do anything for you. I was just reading through the comments on Angie's blog and I saw your comment. I was like "hey,I know her!" She is such a sweet soul and I pray for her every day. Give Brennen a belated bday hug from us.
Love ya,
Marilena
