I just watched this with the kids, and then asked them, if Jesus were here right now, and you could say something to Him face to face, what would you say?
Caedmon, usually my verbal one, said, "Thank you".
Brennan said, "I yuv you!" (translation....love you)

The thing about this that spoke volumes to me is the fact that the man who did the painting, took no credit at all for himself. Even to the point of wearing a jacket with a hood so that he wasn't the focus, but Jesus was.
That's how I want to live my life.
So that God gets all the glory, and I am in the shadows.

that was pretty cool.
davina and i attended a service in california at a church called mosaic where they had someone do a painting while the sermon was being delivered. i can't remember what was being painted, davina probably will, but i remember it was a pretty cool service and the painting fit in with what was being talked about.

I think the sermon at Mosaic church, where someone was doing a painting, was about letting God's love shine thru in everything you do. The painting had a lot of stuff going on in it (kinda abstract) but there was a very visible pink heart in the center of the canvas.
