Our Recent Trip to Long Beach - Which is Your Favorite?

Touring The Long Beach Harbor by Boat

Chili's - because sometimes you just need familiar food on vacation.

The most beautiful wooden boat I've ever seen - and practicing the Pledge of allegiance. :)

Being Goofy - I love this picture!

Outside of Ruby's Diner - the one time of my life, ugh.

At the General Patton Museum, practicing the Pledge of Allegiance - and getting to thank a WW2 Veteran.

Ahhh....

Ahh....absolute and pure glee! She's such my girl!
Sweet Little Feet. :)

Can you tell that we have a few engineers in the family? And one artist. :)

Daddy of the Year Award, don't you think?!

My sweet boy - and me refusing to wear makeup on vacation!

Bringing our trip to a close...I was so worn out, can you tell?

Oh, I just had to add this one....safe in the arms of her Daddy!

Now...why don't you leave a comment and vote on which one is your favorite? This could be fun!

Love ya'll today!
Jes

Beautiful pictures!! So hard to choose just one, so I'm gonna vote for two! I love the one at the Patton museum/pledge, and the one at the end--safe in Daddy's arms. Such a beautiful picture of resting in the arms of our Father--in spite of the waves that storm and crash around us. Love it! Love you and your heart for God, family and country. Be blessed today!

Love the one of the kids running out into the waves together...it captures that carefree time in life when you don't have a worry in the world!

(Was the water freezing?)

Dear Jes, stunning family pics. That's what life is all about - family and Family. Thanks for giving us a trip with you. Where is Long Beach (my USA knowledge not too good). I love the photo of your daughter safe in daddy's arms. It is such a vivid depiction of the safety in Father's arms despite the storms and even despite the good times in the ocean.
Blessings

I like all the pictures of you with the kids - and the sandy feet - and Brennan's hair - and Shane covered with sand (what is that blue stuff they've put on the top?) I love you without makeup:)

Fun trip!

Okay, like to request prayer for the following:

Samantha
Phyllis
Danny
Kelly

Hi Ya'll,

Thanks for the sweet comments on our pictures...

I have more. :)

Chandy...I am praying for you every day, and think of you so often throughout the day...how are you, sweetie?

I don't think the water was too cold...I didn't go in, and they didn't complain. :)

Gaby, Long Beach is in California, near Los Angeles. My goodness, talk about the feel of Babylon...I felt so weighted down with grief while we were there!

There were big signs all over the buses and billboards advertising the "Adult Entertainment" conference that was going to be taking place the very next weekend...my heart cried out, just wishing I could be there, outside the doors, sharing the freedom from bondage found in Jesus Christ...

I just kept saying to myself, "THIS place it what defines the culture of America?! THIS?!"

I couldn't believe it....it was so empty.

I will cherish that picture of Brennan and her Daddy forever..I've never seen a little girl so love and trust her father the way that Brennan does Shane...it's truly something so special to watch.

I know there are others who have that relationship too, it's just so special for me to witness...he's such an amazing Daddy.

Nanner...thanks for telling me that you love me without makeup. I'm learning to also...due to the issues with small motor with my hand, there are just days that I can't make my hand work to put it on...or to pluck my eyebrows (THAT ONE IS KILLING ME!)....

So, I'm settling into the whole finding your natural beauty thing now, and I like it. :)

I also love my new Melaleuca skin care...I think that's helping me a lot! :)

Love you all!
Jes
